<p class="wp-block-paragraph">El primer fin de semana de mayo tuvo lugar la Volrace Masters en el Circuit Ricardo Tormo de Valencia. Se trataba de un evento combinado entre la primera parada de la historia del Campeonato Europeo Drift Masters en España, con un evento al más puro estilo Volrace con combinación de Gymkhana Drift, exposición y otras actividades paralelas.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Los mejores pilotos europeos pudieron batirse en Valencia.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Drift Masters, en su décimo aniversario, estrenó la temporada con un circuito completamente nuevo, puesto que este campeonato no sólo no había pisado jamás España, sino tampoco ningún país vecino como Francia, Portugal o Italia, haciendo el evento todavía más especial.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Por otro lado, VOLRACE, que mezcla la pasión por el automóvil con conciertos, food trucks, stands y expo, dotando a los eventos del motor en España de un aire fresco que nadie había dado antes, y devolviendo los circuitos a la gente y la gente a los circuitos.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Con <a href="https://dm.gp/" title="Drift Masters">Drift Masters</a> organizando la parte competitiva y con VOLRACE organizando el festival, el evento fue un éxito tal y como confirman los organizadores.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Por parte de Drift Masters, el viernes se realizaron las clasificaciones donde&nbsp;Ali Makhseed, piloto representante de Kuwait, pegó el primer golpe encima de la mesa y&nbsp;obtuvo 94.5 puntos en la clasificación, por delante de Benediktas Cirba a los mandos de su BMW E92 2JZ Eurofighter y de Lauri Heinonen, el finlandés, que fue segundo el año pasado en el campeonato y que vuelve con mucha fuerza este año a los mandos de su&nbsp;S13 V8.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Una prueba muy exigente con las mecánicas.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">El trazado se mostró salvaje con las mecánicas y muy exigente con los pilotos. Sólo en la mañana del viernes, en los entrenamientos libres, se rompieron 7 motores y 5 cajas de cambio. Algunos pilotos, como Juha Rintanen, consiguieron cambiar el motor a tiempo. Otros, como el canadiense Josiah Fallaise no lograban reparar sus coches para volver a salir a pista.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Los wildcards del campeonato Drift Spain también tuvieron problemas mecánicos durante todos los entrenamientos y las clasificaciones: Joao Vieira rompió embrague y caja de cambios; Marc Huertes e Igor Derenko, los pilotos de Nerol Drift Team sufrieron averías; Joan Caballer tuvo un problema de frenos; y tras las vueltas de Óscar Ruiz, Rubén Bolaños y de Ole Peter Vatn que no tuvieron puntuaciones altas, sólo Jason Banet lograba clasificarse. El piloto francés demostró que el nivel del campeonato de España puede competir con el de los mejores drifters de Europa. El francés no sólo pasó al día siguiente, sino que regaló al público batallas espectaculares.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Batallas finales de infarto.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Por lo tanto, el día grande, que en Drift Masters es el sábado, traía unas batallas totalmente fuera de lo común, en las cuales el vigente campeón ni siquiera podía participar al no haberse clasificado el día anterior, y su hermano, Jack Shanahan, caía también antes de tiempo. Por otra parte, Piotr Wiecek, el piloto que más veces ha ganado el campeonato, quedaba eliminado en el Top 32. Sólo uno de los cinco primeros clasificados en el campeonato del año pasado logró pasar al Top 16.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fue&nbsp;Lauri Heinonen, que llegó a la final. Sin embargo,&nbsp;cayó ante Kevin Pesur, el piloto estonio que consiguió por primera vez la victoria en un round de Drift Masters. A los mandos de su particular BMW (chasis de E46, frente y trasera de M2 y motor de E36 turbo) no sólo estrenó el nuevo chasis subiéndose al podio, sino que fue la primera vez que un piloto estonio lidera el campeonato.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">El podio lo completó el joven polaco&nbsp;Adam Zalewski&nbsp;después de vencer a&nbsp;Benediktas Cirba. en la batalla por el tercer y cuarto puesto. El público pudo disfrutar de un impredecible top 32, un luchado Top 16, un emocionantísimo Top 8 y unas finales con muchísima proximidad y batallas de infarto.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Gymkhana DriftSpain para completar el show.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">El domingo fue un día 100% VOLRACE, teniendo la&nbsp;gymkhana y los premios de la Expo. Una gymkhana muy especial, ya que los pilotos de Drift Masters estaban invitados a participar.&nbsp;Pilotos como Ryusei Akiba, Piotr Kozlowski o los wildcards Marc Huertes, Igor Derenko o Joan Caballer se pudieron redimir de haber caído en clasificaciones en Drift Masters, mostrando su potencial en un circuito donde los muros estaban muy pero que muy cerca.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Pedro García, el piloto de Mazarrón, fue el ganador de una clasificación en la que sólo tuvo una vuelta debido a la cantidad de palieres que rompió durante todo el fin de semana. El equipo García Motorsport decidió optar por una configuración súper agresiva de neumáticos semislicks traseros para buscar muchísima tracción, siendo los palieres de serie no suficientes para tragarse el poderoso par de su motor 6 cilindros diesel.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Oportunidad para los pilotos españoles.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Algunos de los pilotos españoles más queridos por el público, como Neil Filló, drifter de 9 años, o Rebetxiki, la primera mujer en subirse a un podio del <a href="https://motormotive.es/eventos/driftspain-2024-round-1-comienzo-por-todo-lo-alto-en-el-jarama" title="campeonato de España de Drift">campeonato de España de Drift</a>, tuvieron accidentes que dejaron sus vehículos heridos de gravedad.  Sin embargo, por suerte, todos los pilotos, a pesar de la dureza técnica y física del trazado de gymkhana, salieron ilesos de los numerosos accidentes que hubo el fin de semana, que se pudieron saldar prácticamente todos con trabajo de chapista.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Sin embargo, en la gymkhana los nombres fueron internacionales también.&nbsp;El podio estuvo conformado por NikNak, Nikolass Bertans, que no sólo subió al primer cajón sino que llegó al corazón de todos los aficionados,&nbsp;siendo vencedor sobre el sueco Joakim Andersson en la final.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">En la pugna por el tercer y cuarto puesto, el italiano&nbsp;Manuel Vacca resultaba vencedor sobre Igor Derenko, relegando al piloto de Nerol a quedarse fuera del podio, por tanto quedaba el podio totalmente internacional.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Campeonato de aceleraciones de Fuerza Libre Competición.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Además se disputó la primera prueba del campeonato de aceleraciones de Fuerza Libre Competición y la Liga de Tiempos, en la que compitieron desde supercoches italianos hasta los mejores coches modificados alemanes, pasando por otro tipo de engendros recortados, muscle cars americanos y hasta un kart con motor de moto.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Exposición de nivel en el paddock.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Pero como no sólo de Drift vive <a href="https://motormotive.es/eventos/volrace-ice-2024-la-primera-volrace-del-ano-hace-vibrar-a-cheste" title="VOLRACE">VOLRACE</a>, también tuvo lugar la EXPO de Volrace. Los jueces, leyendas en el mundo de la personalización, como Ignacio, que fue redactor en Maxi Tuning, y Manolo, cuyas creaciones han ganado premios internacionales, tuvieron que reducir una lista de 500 coches hasta un Top de sólo 10 premiados.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Coches americanos, europeos y japoneses tuvieron representación en una muestra heterogénea de cultura del automóvil, pasión, color y cuidados por máquinas que dicen mucho de la pasión de sus propietarios.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">El BRZ de Nahuel, el Audi A4 de Dani, el M3 E93 de Rubén, el Land Rover Discovery de Iván, el Subaru Impreza de Víctor, el Ford F350 de Bastian, El Civic EG de Joan, el Nissan S13 de Marc y los Mitsubishi Eclipse de Sergio y de Rafa se llevaron los premios en esta disputada edición de la Expo.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">En definitiva, un auténtico festival del motor.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Volrace Masters supuso tres días de acción ininterrumpida, competición, fiesta, cultura del motor, gastronomía, zona comercial grande y variada y una serie de actividades paralelas que no dieron lugar al aburrimiento para la gran cantidad de aficionados que asistieron a la cita.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Eurocrew estrenó el pasado sábado 3 de febrero su calendario 2024 en un circuito nuevo para este organizador como es el de MotorLand Aragón en Alcañiz (Teruel). De la misma manera, era un formato de evento muy novedoso para lo que se suele ver en este circuito, más acostumbrado a pruebas deportivas de automovilismo y motociclismo de alto nivel nacional e internacional, o pruebas de desarrollo. En cualquier caso el binomio Eurocrew-MotorLand fue un auténtico éxito, y donde también tuvo especial relevancia la involucración del Real Automóvil Club Circuito Guadalope como promotor de las legendarias carreras urbanas de Alcañiz, y que sigue vivo manteniendo el legado y transmitiendo la pasión por el motor presente en Alcañiz y en la Comarca del Bajo Aragón en General.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Un total aproximado de 6.000 personal se desplazaron hasta el circuito aragonés para disfrutar de las máquinas rodando en pista, el Eurocrew Drift Arena y una expo de calidad al nivel que nos tienen acostumbrados los eventos de Eurocrew.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Trackday con 7 horas de pista abierta y auténticos «pepinos» para batir el crono.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Eurocrew suele personalizar cada uno de sus eventos con una temática y foco principal, y en este caso fue el trackday, donde más de un centenar de coches, algunos de ellos preparadísimos hasta los topes, pudieron pelear contra el crono. El trackday tuvo tanto poder de convocatoria que no sólo había participantes de todas las partes de España, sino que atrajo participantes incluso desde Alemania.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Eurocrew Drift Arena, 12.000m2 para derrapar durante 12 horas seguidas.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">La organización montó el Eurocrew Drift Arena, un circuito controlado a lo largo del paddock donde los participantes de drift pudieron rodar durante las 12 horas de duración del evento, tanto individualmente como en batallas de 2 y hasta 3 coches juntos. Un montaje ideal para que todo el público pudiera disfrutar en primera persona del espectáculo a sólo unos metros con el sonido, el olor y hasta las partículas de goma desprendidas en cada curva.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">La actividad se extendió hasta bien entrada la noche, donde a pesar de la oscuridad y el descenso de temperaturas el público siguió disfrutando del espectáculo.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Exposición muy variada, pero con altísimo nivel y calidad de preparaciones.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Casi 300 preparaciones de diferentes estilos y alto nivel se distribuyeron a lo largo del inmenso paddock de MotorLand Aragón. Eurocrew había contemplado distintas categorías (Racing, JDM, Stance, Clásicos y Exóticos) con coches preseleccionados, que accedían a participar en sus correspondientes premios por estilo, así como una nueva Categoría «Rookie» para preparaciones muy básicas pero con mucho potencial (lo que en las concentraciones de hace años se conocia como «Top iniciados»). </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Los coches se dispusieron holgadamente para que la gente pudiera disfrutarlos perfectamente al detalle en 360º y poder realizar mejores fotos y vídeos, un detalle especial que Eurocrew viene aplicando en las expos del resto de eventos.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Además todos los participantes en la Expo pudieron disfrutar del Eurocrew Parade, uno de los momentos más especiales del día, donde alrededor de 300 coches pudieron acceder al trazado de MotorLand Aragón y dar un par de vueltas controladas, creando una estampa casi mágica en el atardecer del campo bajoaragonés. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Para completar la actividad, durante el evento discurrieron diversas actividades paralelas, como entrevistas a distintos influencers, personalidades y creadores de contenido en el escenario principal, donde el DJ y speaker también animaba el ambiente durante todo el evento.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">También hicieron acto de presencia diversos colaboradores con sus stands para demostraciones comerciales y venta de productos, donde destacaba el stand de Hot Wheels, pues la marca de juguetes y coleccionismo aprovechó para presentar su Hot Wheels Legends Tour 2024, en busca del próximo ganador cuyo proyecto replicarán en un modelo a escala 1:64.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Durante los días 2 y 3 de diciembre la niebla presente en Madrid se mezcló con las nubes de humo que los algunos de los mejores pilotos y coches de drift de Europa hicieron sobre el asfalto del Jarama.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Si bien el plato estrella del Fin de Semana era el propio Desafío Europeo de Drift, el mítico Circuito del Jarama fue testigo de un fin de semana muy completo complementando la actividad principal con otros atractivos como la expo en paddock o las batallas de aceleración en la recta principal.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Si bien la organización de DriftSpain ha adquirido unos nivel de profesionalidad creciente con el paso de las últimas temporadas, el Desafío Europeo ha supuesto un despliegue, y un vuelco de la afición nunca antes visto en un evento de Drift en España, a pesar de que la climatología no acompañó. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Con el cartel de «sold out» en las entradas al Jarama, y más de 50.000 espectadores online entre sábado y domingo, el Desafío Europeo de DriftSpain ha batido récords atrayendo más afición que la mayoría de eventos de automoción celebrados en España a nivel nacional en 2023.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Batallas apasionantes entre los mejores pilotos de la escena drift europea.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">El Desafío Europeo consiguió congregar hasta 33 pilotos participantes, así como otros invitados, provenientes desde Francia, Italia, Lituania, Portugal, Suiza, Armenia y España. Tras los entrenamientos del sábado, el domingo los pilotos pudieron dar lo mejor de sí mismos y sus máquinas en las apasionantes batallas del Top32, que se estiraron hasta bien entrada la noche, haciendo de las finales un espectáculo aún más impresionante si cabe.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Las distintas eliminatorias fueron clasificando a los pilotos hasta llegar a las finales, que concluyeron con la victoria del francés Anthony Rocci a los mandos de su BMW e30 con motor 2JZ, seguido en el pódium por el Armenio Raman Kandrastsenka (BMW M2 2JZ), y con Alex Gritti (BMW e36 M50 stroker turbo) en tercer lugar.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">El español con mejor resultado fue el vigente campeón de España de 2023 Rubén Bolaños con su BMW e46 2JZ que se quedó en los cuartos de final (Top 8) tras unas intensas batallas contra el portugués Diogo Correia (BMW e92).</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Desafío Drag por Fuerza Libre Competición.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Paralelamente al Desafío Europeo de Drift, Fuerza Libre Competición organizó sus batallas de aceleración para poner colofón a su temporada 2023, con la participación de hasta 78 coches, entre los cuales se pudieron ver superdeportivos, prototipos de drag, o preparaciones extremas de todo tipo. Destacó en los tiempos el Porsche 911 992 Turbo S por encima de los 1000cv.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Expo, música, zona comercial y mucho show.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Como es habitual en los eventos de DriftSpain, el paddock se convirtió en un continuo show de la mano de Volrace, con una exposición de coches seleccionados de distintos estilos y alta calidad de preparaciones, una zona comercial muy completa y otras actividades de los colaboradores participantes como simuladores, sorteos o show de radiocontrol. Además, el Circuito del Jarama ofrecía sus actividades permanentes como el karting de alquiler o la Royal Experience que permite inciarse en el Drift y la conducción deportiva a los mandos de los Westfield AeroRace.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">El sábado por la mañana se habilitó el trazado del Jarama para las tandas de grip, donde los participantes pudieron ponerse a prueba contra el crono.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Como no podía ser de otra manera, la oferta gastronómica del evento fue variada para poder satisfacer a la multitud de público asistente y participantes, y la amenización musical junto a los comentaristas del drift y el drag hicieron del fin de semana una auténtica fiesta del motor.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Sin duda, este evento ha supuesto un punto de inflexión en la historia del Drift en España. El nivel está más alto que nunca, tanto a nivel de pilotos, como de preparadores, organizadores, y cómo no de la afición que hace que esto sea posible. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">La gente de Eurocrew tiene ya mucha experiencia cuando se trata de organizar eventos de alto nivel, y así lo demostró en su cita de cierre de calendario 2023 durante los días 11 y 12 de noviembre en el Circuit Calafat (Cataluña). Durante todo el fin de semana tanto participantes como público pudieron disfrutar de una completa agenda del motor con actividad tanto en pista como en el paddock del Circuit.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A este evento, el mayor hasta la fecha organizado por Eurocrew en Calafat, y que contaba con el patrocinio principal de BC Racing España, se desplazaron cientos de coches y aficionados desde distintas partes de España.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Actividad frenética en pista con las tandas drift y grip.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">La pista principal del complejo de Calafat se ocupó al 100% durante todo el fin de semana alternando las diferentes disciplinas disponibles para disfrute de participantes y público.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">El trackday congregó más de 100 inscritos en las tandas grip, con el objetivo de que los pilotos pudieran batir sus mejores tiempos. Se pudieron ver coches y preparaciones de todo tipo, pero destacaron algunos tracktool muy preparados para rascar segundos al crono. El nivel de preparaciones de trackday en España viene incrementando en los últimos años, con aficionados cada vez más implicados y preparadores profesionales que no tienen nada que envidiar al nivel de otros países con más tradición de trackdays, lo que ha quedado demostrado en los eventos celebrados en los distintos circuitos españoles durante este 2023.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">En cuanto a las sesiones de drift, la emoción y adrenalina dominaron cada una de las tandas, donde el plato fuerte lo pusieron como siempre las batallas por parejas, donde los pilotos pudieron demostrar un altísimo nivel. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Exposición de calidad y entretenimiento durante todo el fin de semana.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Como es habitual en los eventos de Eurocrew, la calidad y presencia de la exposición de coches en el paddock del circuito ofreció a participantes y visitantes la posibilidad de observar cientos de vehículos preparados al detalle. Además, las distintas actividades paralelas como los shows de stunt, ambientación musical, zona comercial, entrevistas o las múltiples opciones de gastronomía completaban el ambiente perfecto para disfrutar del fin de semana. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Los días 20, 21 y 22 de octubre se celebraron en el Circuito de Navarra (Los Arcos) las dos últimas rondas (Round 04 y Round 05) puntuables para el campeonato nacional DriftSpain Series. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Los pilotos, a los mandos de los mejores coches preparados para drift del panorama español, portugués y francés, ofrecieron al público un emocionante espectáculo en pista desde el viernes hasta el domingo.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Además, y como viene siendo habitual en los eventos de DriftSpain, la actividad principal se complementó con otras acciones en las distintas zonas del Circuito de Navarra: DriftShow nocturno en el Karting, lanzadas drag de Fuerza Libre Competición, exposición con gran número de coches, zona comercial, etc.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Los nuevos campeones de España de Drift 2023.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">El Campeonato de España 2023 en la Categoría Pro se saldó con la victoria de Rubén Bolaños (BMW e46), seguido por los portugueses Armindo Martins (Nissan 350Z) y Joao Vieira (BMW e46), en segundo y tercer lugar respectivamente.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">En Categoría SemiPro el triunfo ha sido coronado por Xavier Caballer (Nissan Silvia S13), con Pedro García (BMW e46) en segundo lugar y Marc Blanco (BMW e36) cerrando el podium.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">La Categoría Elite (por equipos de dos coches) ha sido conquistada por los hermanos Caballer (Joan y Xavier) a los mandos de sus Nissan Silvia S13, con el equipo de Pedro García (BMW e46) y Marc Blanco (BMW e36) en segundo lugar, y el dúo Armindo Martins (Nissan 350Z) y Rodrigo Gallo (BMW e36) en tercera posición. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Lanzadas de Drag por Fuerza Libre Competición.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">La recta del Circuito de los Arcos también tuvo su momento de protagonismo, ya que la gente de Fuerza Libre Competición organizó sus habituales duelos, que trajeron hasta Navarra preparaciones de lo más heterogéneas desde distintos puntos del panorama nacional y también de Portugal. Desde preparaciones extremas gasolina y diésel hasta superdeportivos pudieron batirse en duelo uno a uno por el cuarto de milla.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Frenética actividad paralela.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Otro punto fuerte del fin de semana para deleite de público y pilotos fueron las tandas nocturnas en el Circuito de Karting, más ratonero que el trazado principal para asegurar un buen show que amenizó el atardecer hasta bien entrada la noche.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Toda esta actividad en pista durante el fin de semana se complementó en el paddock con actividad musical, zona comercial, y la habitual exposición que atrajo gran cantidad de preparaciones de diferentes estilos.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Pero la actividad de DriftSpain de este 2023 no finaliza aquí, ya que los días 2 y 3 de diciembre tendrá lugar el «Desafío Europeo» en el Circuito del Jarama, un evento «extra» no puntuable para el campeonato, pero que asegurará un espectáculo de alto nivel en pista con los mejores pilotos del panorama drift europeo, combinado con tandas GRIP, expo y zona comercial.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">En el marco del Festival de la Velocidad del Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, en Montmeló, el fin de semana del 29 de septiembre al 1 de octubre se celebró una nueva cita del calendario nacional de carreras de aceleración.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Los diferentes vehículos preparados para aceleración compartieron pista con la competición de turismos de más alto nivel. El Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe, las GT4 European Series y McLaren Trophy Europe celebraron diferentes carreras a lo largo del fin de semana.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Pero al caer la tarde, la atención se centraba en la recta, donde pudimos disfrutar de las mejores lanzadas uno contra uno, con preparaciones radicales llegadas desde distintas partes de España u otros países vecinos como Portugal, donde hay una creciente pasión por las carreras de aceleración.</p>
